Water-pumping facility being built

August 5, 2007 | Author: Carlos

These days, improvement works are being carried on the eastern part of our gardens. The work consist on a shaft sunk deep into the ground to obtain water. A massive water deposit has been installed and our old four water containers, that were located close to the garages door, has been deployed around the main deposit.

If we have to talk figures, the bigger water deposit has around 15.000 litres, and each of the four smaller ones around 3.000 litres more. That’s some 12.000 + 15.000, around 27.000 litres.

pozo 2An access ramp is being built, it will go from the garden south of the swimming pool to the water deposits facility. A fence with a locked door will be built around the complex. Out of curiosity, the idea of pumping water from the undergrounds came when a problem in the pipes of water that the swimming pool uses destroyed an antire corner of the garden around it. The idea of taking chance of the unfortunate circunstance occurred to our President.

As mentioned above, it is expected that the amount pumped will be more than enough to water the entire community resulting in great savings to us owners.
