Small trekking route without leaving the Urba.

Now that we all have good weather, holidays and the days has plenty of hours of Sun, it is possible that some will feel attracted by the idea of enjoying a small walk without having to take the car.
The problem with our Urba is that it sits on a hill, and thus, trying to go up by Avenida España will result in a bit tiresome task. If you go down you will find yourself in the beach very quick. I have been enjoying this little route that tries to go as flat as possible, and leaving cars and houses behind for most of the time. If you leave La Siesta and go left up the road, continue past the junction and start the route by the little path next to the red house. It’s a little complicated to explain so I have drawn the path in a little map. It takes me up to an hour to do it and Google Maps assures its 3 kilometers - nice figure for a bit healthy walking to keep on shape!

I agree it’s a nice walk. But it could also be a nice shortcut to Comercial Cipreses, if they open the gate just behind the shops (close to the lowest point on your red line). This to avoid the dètour up Avda España and down again through the park on our way back home loaded with bags.
Tryggve.
You are right, Tryggve. As a matter of fact I remember taking this shortcut and the entrance to the parking area just behind the Mona Lisa cafeteria (which is a WIFI area, btw) was open. I would hate to know they have put a lock to that gate…
